An outdoor maternity session in early September to a precious Thanksgiving baby!

Serene came to me to book her newborn session and then decided to do a maternity session and capture her bump as well. I’m so glad she did!!

Then little Rhea arrived…

First of all…Happy (albeit late) New Year. There’s been quite a bit going on behind the scenes that have delayed me in getting more active on the blog but I hope to be back into the swing of things soon! I trust everyone had a safe and happy holiday season and while we’re coming close to the end of this first month of 2019, that the year has started out favorably! There’s a number things I’m cooking up and hope to share in the next few months that I’m excited about as well as a newborn model call session (I’m looking for twins!!) but that’s all I’m going to say for now. 🙂

We’re really here to check out this beautiful newborn boy, Landon. I know I’ve mentioned it in the past that there are just certain little clients that refuse to get in to that deep sleep. Landon was one of them, but that’s ok! He gave me 30 minutes in the studio where I could work some newborn magic and voila!

Welcome 2018!

As 2017 came to a close it seemed as if newborns were trying to make their appearances before the new year began! 🙂 That’s good for me as I have a few little newbies to share with you in the coming weeks. I’m booking newborn sessions into February right now so if you are expecting now is the time to get your session blocked off. I always stress to potential clients that while you’ll be busy preparing for your little one’s arrival, nursery prep and new visitors that the thought of booking a newborn session then will be far from your mind. That’s why earlier is better! And don’t worry, I know these little humans have a way of showing up early and late that is why I always create a soft booking for you based on your due date. Once baby arrives, we will firm up your session date, no problem.

To my clients of 2017 thank you for allowing me to share in this chapter of your story. It is always an honor for me to meet you and the newest member – or members – of your family 🙂 I look forward to meeting all the special little lives 2018 will bring!

I fell in love with little Norah as soon as I met her at her newborn session. With her sweet, adorable big eyes and all around cuteness how could I not!? 🙂

This sweet boy had the best hair ever and he didn’t make one sound during his newborn session. Gotta say, he had the most intense look during his awake shots. 🙂

What can I say about these adorable newborn brothers? Not much other than they were sheer perfection during their newborn session 🙂

I love when my clients return with newbons. Not only do I get to meet their latest addition to their family but I get to see how their first born has grown! About 4 years ago I had the joy of photographing Betsy’s twin boys – who, by the way, are in my newborn gallery with a yellow backdrop 🙂 They are still adorable…

…and now I had the honour of capturing her adorable newborn baby girl Phoebe!
